The Carved Korina family of Rees guitars are the latest design, and benefit from the experiences of the variety of previous models. They use the same body shape as the Rees JazzBox (see also those photos). The well balanced and relatively light body is carved on the front and the back and its soft curves make it extremely comfortable to play. The body can be either solid or chambered with an F hole. It can be made of either all korina, or korina with a 10mm thick flame maple front. A maple front will make the instrument sound a little bit brighter with more aggressive sharper attack. Chambering will add a small amount of charming sweet modulation to the tone. All constructions have very long sustain and responsive playing feel.
