These cake slices are rough unfinished samples. The centre parts represent the scratchplates, and the outer parts represent the guitar bodies. You can have almost any colours you like for the maple front or scratchplate, and the korina or mahogany body.
We can mix dyes to any exact colour, provided that the wood will support that colour. Mahogany bodies will only dye to colours darker than medium brown. However korina bodies will dye to a good variety of colours. Maple fronts and scratchplates will dye to almost any colour including some quite bright saturated colours. Figured maples also shimmer and change their patterning in an enchanted way when rotated in light.
